Cover Reveal: Dancing with Darkness by Andrea Heltsley

I’ve been working on a project in secret. Yup, in secret. It is so different from anything else I’ve written; yet I felt compelled to write it the way it needed to be told. Today, it’s time to let you all in on the secret!
Announcing the next book in the Dancing series: Dancing with Darkness #2.5
(spoilers ahead, read at your own risk!)
This book takes place directly after Dancing with Demons
*This cover was created by the absolutely amazing cover artist Donna Dull!*
Wendy’s disappearance is a mystery I’m not any closer to solving. She’s in danger, I know that much. Our bond is weakening and I’m afraid there’s no way to keep it from dissolving completely.

I’m not sure where to turn, and I know that at the first sign of weakness, all might be lost. The only thing I’m certain about; Wendy’s mine. I’ll do whatever’s necessary to get her back in my arms, even if it means forfeiting my own life.

Cover Reveal: M by Jo Michaels

Happy Tuesday, everyone! Today, it’s all about the cover for a new novel by Jo Michaels titled M. What’s the book about? Well, keep reading!

Title: M

Author: Jo Michaels

Genre: Young Adult Paranormal/Urban Fiction

Publication Date: June 17, 2015

Length: 55k words

In 2026, it finally arrives, the drug promising to make life easier for the masses. One dose of M and anyone can gain an ability. There are no promises made as to what the power could manifest as, but people are crawling over one another to take a chance.

There’s a problem: One pill costs a million dollars. Only those with extraordinary wealth are afforded the luxury of cleaning house with a click of their diamond-adorned fingers or solving a puzzle by talking to it.

A knockoff begins circulating in 2038 that does the same thing as M. Hundreds of thousands of people have mutated for a mere one hundred dollars.

Enter the year 2042.

Seventeen-year-old Griffin is a normal kid, who has a regular job, and dreams of going to college someday. When his girlfriend of three years succumbs to peer pressure, they break up. He believes the body is a temple not to be messed with outside of nature, and she wants to fit in. Once he meets the supplier, things take a turn for the worse.

He’s left with nothing but pain in his heart and the desire to make them suffer when his plans for payback blow up in his face.

Thirst for revenge consumes him, and he finds himself locked in a battle he never anticipated with a merciless kingpin as they struggle to gain the advantage.

How far is too far?

***This book is a standalone novel, suitable for those over the age of thirteen. There is some violence that may not be appropriate for younger children.***

Changes Galore (But All in A Good Way) – Plus New Cover for A REAPER MADE!

Hi folks! I have a few things of note to discuss today, the most obvious being: Welcome to the updated website! I hope you don’t find it too confusing, though I expected a few of you might’ve been surprised to visit and see an entirely different look 🙂 As I move forward with my new PR firm, Mark My Words Book Publicity, I decided that since my covers were getting revamped, it was time to spruce up the site, too. I hope you like it as much as I do!

Now for the big news. As I mentioned above, the Donovan Circus covers have been re-done for marketing purposes. I am SO in love with the new covers (all three are finished!), but I can’t show them off until my cover reveal blog tour on June 22 🙂 UtopYA attendees will be able to get their hands on the new pretties the weekend before that, but until then, I have to be patient – a nearly impossible feat!

That being said, here’s YOUR surprise today. On a whim, I was talking with the cover designer about A REAPER MADE. Long story short, I opened up my email this morning to find this brand new, unbelievably beautiful cover.

A Reaper Made

I literally gasped aloud when it popped up. I’d been thinking about a re-do simply because the first cover is, while wonderful, a little dark and scary. This book has a few twists that will hopefully have you on the edge of your seat, but it’s also a lot of fun. Plus there’s romance and on a college campus! So it was time it got a little makeover. Here’s the full wrap that I wanted to share because it’s so beautiful.

I love the way she incorporated a gravestone in the background, as well as the celestial sky, as that is also a callback to the angels that show up when you least expect it. All in all, I couldn’t be happier!

I’ll be posting more soon, including the new Donovan Circus covers. In the meantime, I’ll leave you with this lovely logo she also made for me. Have a wonderful weekend and I’ll talk to you soon!
