Holly Jolly Blog Hop: the 4th Day of Christmas

Welcome to the Holly Jolly Blog Hop! Each day from Dec 12-23, indie authors are giving away prizes (such as signed paperbacks, ebooks, and more) and giving a little insight to their characters. What do you think your favorite character (as an author OR reader) would give to you for Christmas?

Starting December 12th, follow us from blog to blog as we get naughty or nice gifts from our characters. Every day, you will have a chance to enter drawings for awesome prizes, including signed copies! There are some great prizes in store, so keep checking back 🙂

Today is my day and I’m giving away BOTH e-copies of Gifted and Burned from the Donovan Circus series! So naturally, the gift-giver today is my Firestarter Lucy, who is a sweetheart but happens to be a terrible gift-giver as she’s never really had to do it before. Let’s see what she did for me…

Be sure to RSVP to our Facebook event page to keep updated on who to visit and how to win some cool stuff.

On the 4th day of Christmas, my character Lucy gave to me…four bowling pins?

I raised an eyebrow at her. “What are these?”

Lucy took the bowling pins from me and began to juggle. Twisting each pin in mid-air at an even keel, she even dared to give me a smile.

“It’s easier than you think,” she said.

“Seriously? You want me to learn how to juggle?”

Lucy laughed, a slight shrug in her shoulders. “I can teach you. I’ve gotten a lot of practice lately.”

“Because you’ve been avoiding Keegan and Gabriel,” I scoffed.

The bowling pins crashed to the ground in her annoyance. Her sudden cross expression and arms folding over her chest made me chuckle. Lucy hated talking about her feelings on the Empath and Firestarter. It was one of my favorite ways to irk her.

“Don’t forget I can set you on fire,” Lucy said.
